Photos What custom is in your pocket today?

"Starship" Sunday, what can I say...I was feeling fancy and this is definitely one of the crown jewels in the collection...just an epic piece by the master of futuristic fantasy Jose de Braga 😎

Cool piece! I was going through some old stuff in my attic and came across a letter from Jose replying to my request for info on his knives! May be no big deal but it’s really cool! Along with the letter is descriptions of his current models and availability at the time. He also included prints of his personal sketches and some b&w prints of some of the knives. This is all dated 1990. I honestly don’t even remember this. I was just getting into knives then when I was 16 y.o. Just thought I’d share👍🏻. Btw- I had to look him up, as I didn’t recognize his name and this came up on BF’s. Glad I found your post😊

That's very cool! He's actually still active on Facebook, I was able to get a bunch of information on my piece from him there.

Here's today's custom carry😁, checking out this "Formula One" folder with it's slick "technically not a switchblade" assisted-opener mechanism from A.B.S. Master Smith Bruce D. Bump 😎

I've had my eye on some custom works but they tend t get pricy quickly (understandable). So it's still "out there".

Since last November, a Jarosz Samsara. For the past few days, a Jarosz Kali. Lucky to score the Kali as Jarosz was closing up his shop in Montana, and moving to a new location. Should be producing knives by mid to late May.

Sorry no pix, but if I can’t download it from my iPad or iPhone…it’s not going to happen.
