Im pretty sure you can chop away with your new blades "With No Issues" lol but I get your point, it is hard fir me to put those few 1st marks, especially on Satin blades lol

I am the same way. sometimes it is hard to knock the new off it. my first was a cgfbm. I was surprised at how easily the coating came off. I still had a smile on my face though.

The handles look like they are factory smoothed as they are flawless. G10 is my guess. The edge has been reprofiled to an very smooth convex edge. In certain areas is is almost a mirror polish. They knew what they were doing.

Also finally found a TGLB at a fair price ! Since both are used. Chop and slice away. Now I just need to learn how to sharpen them

That TGLB is seeeeeeeexxxxyyyyyy! Oh my. And as for the CGFBM.....congrats...smooth handles weaken my knees.....lovely.
Now, if you want that TGLB etched let me know...you cover shipping both ways and I'll do it for free. 9v etching.
