What did Uncle Sugar waste $350 on today?

Isn't there a $million+ commission whose purpose is to lighten the load-out of soldiers? 24 oz for all that crap is ridiculous. What's the point of a hand-held flashlight for infantry anyways? Isn't one hand always supposed to be on your rifle? Politicians must view molle gear like a Nascar team owner views fenders.

Yeah we all have weapon lights, but handhelds are a necessity as well. Current doctrine frowns upon pointing the muzzle of a loaded weapon at someone's face every time you want to illuminate them.

That is why I hooked my friend who is enlisted in the USMC up with good stuff, Benchmade strap cutter, custom knife (Made by me) and i'm planning on hooking him up with a good Surefire flashlight for Christmas, so he doesn't have to spend money.

I hate to say it but those tools look more like toys...or props from a spy movie.

You, sir, are a good friend!

I dont know much about Gerber multi tools but is any of that stuff made in China? If so, it's disgusting that our own government (Uncle Sugar) isnt at least supporting U.S. Made.

Imagine what the BG version would have cost! Of course, then you would have a satelite phone...
