The phrase killer INFI isn't really funny right now. I went out for a picnic with my GF pretty deep into Jennings state forest today. We were there from 4-6 p.m. when we drove by the equestrian parking area at 4:00 we saw a horse and trailer. and one other car. She jokingly said, "
we should go ask them if we can go ride the horse." We laughed and kept driving the couple miles to where we grilled some marinated chicken. And chopped some wood with an FBM. And fired a few rounds of 9mm. While we were there a truck that looked like it was about to fall apart drove by us which was odd because we were at a dead end. There was three people in it and the person in the center never moved and had his head laid back as if he was sleeping. They stopped and asked us if they were allowed to bring horse trailers back in that far and we told them no. It was very odd because he could barely get his truck back in there much less a trailer. I told my GF that and she didn't really understand how weird it was. I went on for at least a minute about how weird that was. As we were leaving at 6 p.m. we saw about 8-10 police units at the equestrian area. We decided to turn around and see what was up. I being me just pulled up and asked if someone had been shot? They told me they went really sure what they had yet and we told them about the truck. I looked over and saw a guy slumped over in the passenger side of a corolla dead. They took our statements and said the detective would be in touch. I told the officer I had a ccw because he wanted us to get out of the truck to write up the statements and I had a gun on me. He said that was cool, but thanks for telling me. I then noticed a benchmade folder in his pocket and he told me it was his second one, he loved them but wore his first one out. He was a cool cop. My GF was fine until we got home, she got sick and we wont be going back there ever again.
