Thats it, just what the tittle says.

What did you use your pocket knife for today, or in the last few days?

I cut a piece of jute twine for a plant, opened my mail, cut open a plastic blister package holding a new ink filler for my Cross pen, broke down a box for trash, cut off some pieces of cloth from a rag while painting the living room. (Better half wanted something more warm" instead of plain white. Now I'm living with something called "cafe au laite". )

I opened a goody bag at work and peeled an apple today.

The other weekend, I put up some chicken wire fencing around my wife's vegetable garden and used a Camillus Rough Cut stockman to cut the ties holding the roll together. Then later I cut some twine to tie around the part of the roll I didn't use.

1. Cut fuel line hose for the lawnmower
2. Trimmed thorny limbs off the tree above our trough in my barnyard
3. Cut through roots while digging up a leaky water pipe in the backyard
4. Opened various blister packs
5. Whittled a little stick for my Grandson
6. And FINALLY opened up the box that my Sharps .45-70 Carbine came in late this afternoon!

Got a lot of mail today. Opened up about 15 boxes or large envelopes for the forum knives.
Cut up an apple this morning and that was about it.

Used this tool today. It was not much of a workout for it, but I'll strop it before the next batch of mail arrives tomorrow. ;).

Opened envelopes. Broke down cardboard boxes. Cut up an apple. Cut back withered tulips and hyacinths in the garden.

Opened the mail, cut up a couple of boxes, cut some leather for lanyard strips...

Opened a box, cleaned some gunk off my fingernails, used the punch on my moore maker stockman to punch some holes on a sheath I am working on. Tested an edge on a 2x4. Cut the wrapper off some brisket. All in all a busy day.

Edited to add I also cut some trimmer line.

Trimmer line on 3 weedwackers. Pruned about 6 limbs off a bush, and cut some twine for my pole beans to run on.

Damn Gus, that's some fine looking stag on a fine looking knife!!!

I sharpened my carpenter's pencil about twenty five times, cut some binding straps off a load of lumber, and worked a tiny sliver of a metal splinter out of my thumb. have you ever had a splinter that was so thin you couldn't see it, yet when you rubbed against it the pain about made you jump out of your skin? Well that was the scenario, I got so frustrated I pulled out the pen blade and drew it across my thumb as if I were whittling it (or shaving) at a very shallow angle, probably five or six times, and the next thing I knew there was a sliver of metal laying on my thumb. What a relief!! Apparently the blade caught what little there was protruding and pulled it out.

Didn't cut a thing today. But I was prepared with an Alsdorf two-bladed jack.

Well I cut some loose threads on my shirt and pants and then some paper when I got home.

stripped some wire, opened a package (an ebay knife), and a hardware blister pack. Ate an apple like Gus, and I am actually going to let the patina form on a 70s
Case small stockman knife. I am a closet polisher, so this is a big step for me.....One day at a time.

I had packed myself an orange as a snack while working. My workplace has this thing called "on-calls" in which, if I'm needed longer than my assigned shift, they can schedule me for longer. They decided to take my on-call today, so my orange became my lunch. Rather than sitting around in the back room, I decided to walk around the mall and find myself a nice place to sit and eat.

With a sheepsfoot blade, I slowly went through the peel and spiraled it round and round. From one end to the next, I then wiped off my blade, put away the stockman, and went at the delicate task of removing the peel in one piece. Bit by bit, I slowly rotated, working counter-clockwise. Once I got it all off, I started putting it back together.

Then I realized that across from me, a boy was just staring at me, either dumbfounded or in awe. Makes me wonder if I gave him the knife bug. Something about guys and sharp, shiny things.

I wish I had something more glamorous, but the only thing I cut today was a BUNCH of newspaper... After stropping up the edge on my old 62032, I had to test it to see if it would push cut.
Damned if it didn't, a whole bunch of times :D

Guten morgen Jacknife. Cut open countless boxes of media for the lab today. And, yes, I used that yellow delrin CV peanut :)

I cut the wraper off a maynase jar this morning to get lunch ready to go out the door, it was how ever with my RAM, SSSHHH!
