So we've got a thread like this on another portion of the board, and it seems appropriate to bring it over here.

For my CS Pipe Hawk, I used it to tear apart one shelf, help assemble another, chop down several worthless saplings, pruned two larger trees, and used it as a defensive item against an angry bumble bee.

I threw my Bushman on a broom handle about 100 times at a dead tree with a friend. Also threw my Frontier hawk and broke a brand new haft. Used my other bushman in the garden to help with some weeding and used my Recon 1 to break down some cardboard boxes and slice up a few grilled cheeses.

I used an All Terrain Chopper to do some work in the woods. I also threw a Perfect Balance Thrower at a tree a few times.

Magnum Kukri machete for the bumble bee, those things can be vicious ! I haven't played with any toys lately as I've been out with a metal detector most days. I did just order a Finn Wolfe yesterday though. So that should be fascinating for a week or two, then into the tub with the rest.

Used my beaver tail mini tac to eat my dinner today.
mostly due to laziness.

Leave it sitting in the corner , to remind me never to buy a cold steal again.

I wonder how this type of comment would go over on the Becker forum? I'm sure it would be handled with tolerance understanding and no one would mind having an innocent thread highjacked like this.....

And the question of the day of course, why would a "Cold Steel" hater that will never get another "Cold Steel" knife, be trolling the "Cold Steel" forum? Blade Show's over and nothing going on in BK land? Come-on-man!

+1
Not every thread has to turn into a flame war, don't like CS why waste your time here?

I rec'd a Code 4 tanto and promptly changed it over to lefty carry and changed the tanto to a spanto. It's a very nice knife, going to really enjoy using it.

Only got the one CS - an American Lawman - but is sees a lot of use; as part of my everyday working knife rotation.

I'm not trolling , I believe a knife should work straight out of the box , not spend ages f$&king around with it til it does work properly. I called it cold steal because they accept money from buyers , for a knife they know is defective , yet keep selling them

You're going to need to be specific in how the knife is defective, and what the circumstances were that led to it.

It locks open and you cant unlock it until you lube it and loosen the pivot screw. That is not normal function for a folding knife.this must be done after every time you open the knife. And ppl consider this " normal" and say it'll just wear in. Shouldn't have to wear it in , it should function normally straight out of the box. A bit of stiffness could be understood , but not closing at all without lube and loosening the pivot screw .is just plain crap. And I'm supposed to pay postage to send it back ? Bullshit.:jerkit:

Decided to make a chopped sandwitch. Had my modded TiLite on me...I don't understand why people say daggers can't slice and dice.

AKK where did you buy the knife from? Understand being pissed about that situation. I never had a problem with a CS knife though. If you ever need blades sent to you from the states let me know. I would check them over well before shipping to you and if they aint right they would get exchanged from the seller before shipping to you. Im sure I could probably ship for about $8 to instead of whatever the company is charging for shipping over seas. If your looking for anything in particular let me know and can probably find you a deal on a new or used blade.

I can't say because they aren't a sponsor of our beloved BF . But they order from the USA and get it shipped to Brisbane.in the future I might take you up on your very generous offer , thank you :) I don't need to say anything else about cold steel , I've said my piece.
