What did you do today while carrying a Buck Knife?

Oregon, Thanks for the photos. In March I came upon a Golden Eagle eating on a road killed doe. Even the coyote was standing back waiting his turn and didn't care to tangle with him. DM

My pleasure.

Seeing a Golden Eagle in this neck of the woods is quite a rare event. I can't say that I've had the pleasure with certainty. They can be huge and loom over the Bald Eagle. In the high lonesome Eastern Oregon desert I also approached a road kill doe. Three giant birds were close or upon the carcass. In spite of my stealth the larger eagle flew off, then the Bald and lastly the Buzzard. In my excitement I produced no accurate photographic evidence of anything...

When my wife was a wildlife rehaber years ago, the organization that she was with brought a wounded and recovering Golden Eagle to our place for a few weeks. It was an awesome creature and very intimidating up close.

Today, I used one of my trusty 301's sheepsfoot blade to open the carton containing my latest new 124.

Each year during my travels I see a Golden Eagle at close range 50yds. or less. Today I used my 110 drop point paperstone to open a package (a gift from my brother). DM
