I did the first logical thing I could think of. I cut myself. Not even trying to wrap her either!

I ordered some CDs from ebay.
The seller wrapped them with bubble wrap. He did a great job on wrapping it.

I used my Izula today to cut through bubble wrap.

:D

Actually I was bored at work today so I decided to watch some you tube videos of spring snare traps and used my leatherman core saw to cut a limb and my izula to baton it into various pieces and practice notching appropriately.

I used my II to cut open a package of new low beam headlight bulbs for my car. Not really taxing it all that much. :)

I sure as heck hope my Izula II is happy. First, I drove it inland about 30 miles to walk along the beautiful Satilla River. No good. All public access has been blocked off. Not even my mighty Jeep could get me there.

So then I drove my Izula II SE for 50 miles to check out the nature trails at Crooked River State Park near the submarine base at Kings Bay.
Well there is the Crooked River. Big Woop. Five bucks just to get in the park.

And there is the alleged "Palmetto Trail", obviously after a napalm strike.

So then I drove my Izula II back north 35 miles to where I started, Blythe Island. Where I walked the nature trail I always walk.

Then

I drove my Izula II back to the house where I emptied out my vest looking for my cell phone. Jeez, I have got to get more organized.

Then I took my Izula II out of its sheath and took its picture with the ESEE-4.

So much for my review and comparison that I was going to do in new surroundings! Danged Izula II.

re-sharpened it.
and then it helped trim ribbon for the wrapping job on my
better half's new pink Izula. :)

I used it to open up the box my girlfriends Valentine's Day gift came shipped in.
Sliced up the roll of my dogs lamb treats.
Cleaned my finger nails with it.:D

Since I'm starting to learn basic survival skills, I went out with my Izula II and fire steel and practiced fire starting skills.

Took it out of the bag, wrapped the handle and put it in my desk drawer. My first ESEE product. Not bad since I'd never even heard of them until a week ago...

Same thing with me.....I seen a vid and boom, I ordered one. Then like a week later I ordered another one.

I will be buying scales soon I woke up this morning with a painful blister in the palm of my hand. Either that or will be giving the 1 to son and getting an izula II plus scales.
