What did you do with your knife today?

Was fishing and found about 20 ft of heavy rubber and canvas hose that had washed down river and was tangled around a tree. It had a bunch of nails in it. I think it had been used as a bumper on someones dock. Used my new Buck 105, which I got from the factory sale yesterday, to cut the hose into pieces so I could untangle it and haul it away. Later I used the 105 to cut meat, cheese, and veggies for dinner. Just a few lite passes on the sharpmaker and it was sharper than it came from the factory. Shaving sharp. I have only used this knife one day, but I can tell that it is a well thought out design, and will be a great user. Can't see it in my pictures, but it hangs nicely off of my fishing bag in the sheath.
Landed a nice fat 16 inch brown. I catch and release mostly, so did not use the Buck on the fish.

Used my 33OT for a few random cutting tasks out in my small garage / shop , opened a package of the new thin Oreo's ( they're actually not bad ), and cut myself off a couple hunks of medium cheddar cheese.

Used my douk douk to cut a couple racks of ribs into sections so I could fit them in the smoker. Also sliced up an apple to go in the water pan.

Not today but over the course of the past week: we were in the Seychelles on honeymoon and I used my carbon steel mora 511 for a whole bunch of stuff like cleaning fish, food prep, cutting open tubes of sun block to get the last it out.. it was great to have a sharp knife as the ones in the cottage we rented were super blunt.

My mora didn't rust, I just made sure to wash and dry it after use.

Sliced my hand open with my brand new (got it yesterday and it was made <2 weeks ago) CMFTW 6" tanto fighter. I recon it's mine now!

walked into the kitchen to see a struggle going on to cut the seal on the wine bottle...son in law to the rescue.

Opened a foil package of medicine for my wife and opened a package of charcoal for the grill with a Delica 4. Scraped some rust off a garden hoe with an old beat up Case trapper. Opened a shrink-wrapped package of whole chicken with the Delica to put on the grill. Used a SAK Cadet to file a thumbnail I nicked in the garden. Sharpened a Case Sodbuster on the KME and cut some saplings and weeds from an herb bed and then harvested some chives for a salad. Used a pen blade from a KA-BAR Barlow to remove the capsule from a bottle of wine.

He caught a turtle with a ZT0450! You are gonna have to show us how that's done! :D

It's "box opening day" for me today! Vic Super Tinker.

I knew someone would catch that as soon I hit "post."

My poor 7th grade English teacher is rolling over in his grave.

the cake was too big for the SAK's blade, but the birthday gifts and warappings didn't stand a chance

So today nothing much just had a few small pieces of mail and my go to letter opener is whatever knife I am carrying that day and today my purple frn delica 4 ffg. The day is not over yet hahahaha! So yeah I suspect nothing further of my knife today probably.

I cut opened all my son's snacks and a box of diapers. And all this was with an Emerson. I know the number 1 hard use knife in the world.

Well today I did something a little unorthodox with my Manix. I was outside with my husky(AK's his name), and I noticed he was messing around with something so I ran off to see what it was and the closer I got I saw the shape of this little reptile. As soon as I saw it I pushed him out of the way and pulled my knife out ready to try and get it wedged behind its neck, only to realize it was already dead.

What I feared was a copperhead at first glance turned out to be little corn snake a bird must have forgotten to take with it. So I used my knife to pick it up and toss it into the weeds, haha.
