I put the finishing touches on a frame handled, ivory, dagger. I love it when the complicated ones are done and out the door.

Lon, it's the heat, post Blade Show and the summer slow down. It will get better soon...
Joe, that's a hell of a pile of wood! I cut, haul, split and stack 10-12 cords a year. Heat our house, big shop and my Mom/Dad's. But I cut fall and winter for the following year, so I can fish all spring and make knives in the AC when it's too hot to fish. After 20 years I broke down and bought a splitter a week ago
John, I feel bad for you folks who forge in this heat. I try and get all of my forging done when it's cool, works out most of the time
