I thought I would start a thread so we can share our new Christmas toys.
Last Christmas I received my first peanut from my daughter, this year my wife seeked out a 2008 Case 5220 Stag Damascus Peanut to gift me via my daughter, I kept showing her Jon Sliders pics of his fine knife, now I have to figure out whether to carry both, or save the Damascus for Friday, Saturday, Sunday carry? The problems of a knife nut :-)

I like that the pile side stag is a little bulkier, it fits the hand nicely.

Great looking Peanut my friend. The women in your life know how to pick out a knife for ya ;). Looks like you will have a fairly big peanut collection in a few years

No new cutlery for me this year, have to many great ones I am still enjoying.

Great Peanut, Pete, one of my all time favorites!
I can't believe I'm actually the first one up, my boys used to be out of bed at the crack of dawn, but now they're teenagers ;)

I'm hoping there will be a Linder Deutsche Pfadfindermesser (Boy Scout knife) under the tree!

Merry Christmas Traditionals!

I had to buy them myself, but these new Barlows and Boys knife are my Christmas toys.

Bless my momma's heart she saw i had a bunch of knives on facebook (accidentally linked my photobucket to my facebook so every time i uploaded a pic to photobucket it would post to my wall on facebook lol)
and wanted to get me a knife. So she did, a Smith and Wesson Military & Police model, funky blade shape, serrations, HUGE handle and all :)
i dont know if i will carry it or if it will take a place in my knife box as a cherished gift from momma :P

oh and my wife got a me a spiffy new stone sharpening system, i'll try and get some pics up later

Hey folks, let's try to limit it to showing off traditional knives in the Traditional forum.

I bought these for myself for X-Mas but gave them to myself a few days before X-mas.

No new knives this Christmas. Last Christmas I had got all knives. This Christmas, I asked for all clothes.

I should have a new custom slipjoint here shortly (though it is not really a Christmas present, I sold some other knives to pay for it).

Well, the wife surprised me once again with a new custom fixed blade, this one by Ken McFall.

Damascus blade, with stabilized cedar burl handle with ivory, muskox and brushed stainless spacers.

I received the Case history/ collectors guide (which I've wanted for a while now)
A fresh box of basswood and a gift certificate to Woodcraft (Yay!)
And then i played Santa and ordered myself 4 Opinels (thanks to you guys and this awesome forum!)
And my 1940-1964 Case Heavy Jack was my favorite knife related gift this year.
Merry X Mas!
