What did you get for Christmas!?!?

I've got a great wife. This year we decided to do stockings only because we bought a new camera. Well this is what was in my stocking among other things. CV blades, amber bone, I love this knife:

finally got to give my 8 year old his SAK hiker. My wife got a SAK classic for her purse. Under the tree for me was a Wharnie mini trapper in orange. Best of all was watching the happy faces of my kids. God bless all you "real folks" this and every day.
 
John T., I love that sheath. Is it a small or large? I've been thinking about getting one even though I rarely carry knives in belt sheaths, I simply love the looks of it! What will you carry in it? Great wife & great kids you have!!

Jacknife, my hat is off to you sir for the unselfish act of giving you are involved in. As much as I like to receive, I DO like to give even more! But your gift is above and beyond because you are helping those less fortunate than yourself.:thumbup::D:thumbup:
 
stingray, that is a cool knife. Mine's got a few miles on it, but looks very similar. Is you?rs CV or stainless?
 
No knives this year, but I noticed a lot of people mentioning the "Dangerous Book for Boys". I bought the "Daring Book for Girls" for my 10 year old daughter. This is an awesome book. Granted, there's some girly stuff if there, but some really useful stuff, too, like how to build a campfire, "lamp, lantern, flashlight", knots and stitches, how to build a seine net, how to paddle a canoe, etc. It's part of her "Daddy Scout" program. She's already developed a deep respect for the Old Timer jackknife I handed down to her earlier this year.
 
Not exactly a knife, but I got a monogrammed sterling silver letter opener.

This is my 4th or 5th one (opener, that is). Seem to be starting a small "sub-collection" without any plans to do so.

Hey watch out, don't you know that there are children on the forum and you have just threaten Santa. The Phantom will protect him though, I know him too.:D:D
 
Got a few Case Pocket Worn knives. Trying to collect all of those. Got a new DMT sharpener. Oh also got a stomach virus. Awesome. Just now getting over it.

NO! but the giver gave me false hints about it being Chinese or something like that, kinda teased me, but that is alright. I have forgiven them and count them as one of my best friends ever.
