What did you get

I got a rock. LOL


OK, 2 hammocks. Did I mention I hate hammocks???

Then I got a nice chef's knife and an instant-read cooking thermometer. . . oh did I mention I purchased both of them and handed them to my wife a month ago and said, "Wrap these up for Father's Day"???

Honestly, I've got a great life, a wonderful wife and three awesome kids. EVERY day is Father's Day!
 
I got the opportunity to go motorcycle riding with my dad all day on Sat., and then spend Sun. with my wife and two kids - I'm very fortunate:thumbup:
 
Wife "surprised me" with a working factory CD/tape player for my car. I love it. She's a keeper. My 3 year old made me a nice piece of artwork at day care:D

I hung out with family all day long over T my dad's house. Ate barbecue, watched some of the music DVD's I got my pops, (Doobie Bros. live at the Wolf Trap, Chicago live, Crossroads Guitar Festival), hung out in the pool win my wife while my mother watched Bella, ate some more, played Dominos, drank, and got home at 3:20 this morning.

Lucky Wifey and I are teachers and have all summer off, cuz all we've done today is sleep. :D

As for gifts, I got a couple colognes, some custom back scratchers (because I'm always asking :D ), a little carving to commemorate being a father for the first time, t-shirts, boxers, and I went to a local runner's shop and had a gait analysis, then had the guy help me pick out a pair of running shoes that will support me best.

I had a great birthday/father's day. I hope everyone else did as well.
