What Did You Sharpen Today?

I sharpened a Collins single bit that is stamped 1 3/4 lb, but I weighed it and it weighed 1lb 15.5 oz. I just finished a 22.5" maple handle for it and hung it on my coyote hunting pack. I draw filed it with a double cut to change the edge profile, then used a finer single cut to clean it up, then used a coarse and fine round stone, a fine small stone and then stropped it. It's a sharp as I can get it, shave sharp. Everytime I use one of my axes or hatchets I touch them up. Dog

I wasn’t sure if banana grinds are appropriate on hatchets, but this thread assured me that I hadn’t mess up this old Walters Black Diamond Montreal pattern hatchet head

I smoothed the bit with ceramic stones. The whole banana will probably get a strop polish soon as well.
