What did you use to mutilate your squash?

Well normally I use a smaller knife like a Mora 510. This year my boys decided to get a frikkin gigantic pumpkin so I ended up using my Mora 2000. Blasted rind on this thing looks 2 inches thick.

Try a 122 pound pumpkin. That was 4 inches thick. I had to use a bread knife :p

my mora 840 and one of my kid's used his mora Robust, and another used his mora 860( He first brought out his RAT 5 D2, but the blade is too broad for fine punkin work).
Best knife to carve with, those moras

I started out with my TGLB but then I realized it was overkill so I cleaned that and put it away and took out my orange Scrapivore. Not bad for my first time carving a pumpkin.

I don't do pumpkin carving but if I were to, my pick would be the mora 906.

Pumpkin carving saw for the big details and a jewelers saw blade for the small. I got a bit beyond the knife blade level of detail a couple years back. Think I may need psychiatric help.

I used the brown Skyline and the Buck 373 for the faces and the ESEE and Kabar to open them up. Friends used the others.
