This is the most common thing I end up using my knife for at work. Cutting Tie line up. I also carry a LM Wave and a Spydie Salt SE.

I use my Izula now for EDC and can't figure out why I didn't do this before now. Today I opened a ton of boxes with it and then prepared my lunch with it.

cutting clothes off (as an EMT and in my full time job in the ER)

jeans can really be tricky, especially high up near the pockets and belts

one time i had to cut a carhart jacket.. it was painful to do..

i've used all kinds of knives, but depending on the people around me, i may get a raised eyebrow, so i try to use my spyderco salt, blunted tip + bright yellow FRN = PC

I opened a couple bags of mortar mix and cut up some Geo-fabric that we used to install a sump pump. I used my Benchmade 557, my go to beater knife.

P.S. Even dry, unmixed cement dulls the crap out of a knife.

I used my Emerson A-100 to cut some weather hardened industrial zap straps and for dinner, I sliced up 3 organic tomatoes...easily. ;)

I cut open the top of an IBC container so I could throw in a submerged pump and get the inoculum bacteria sludge into the reactor. Just before that I cut open about 40 bags of bicarbonate for same reactor. This is about the heaviest work my Tenacious gets to do.

Sad but my small Sebenza was used just to cut a bagle for breakfast since I work in an office.

If I owned a small Sebenza, I would probably make sure it was a soft bagel, as in don't scratch the hardware. :D

Carrying my Benchmade 580 today. I'm a farmhand, used it to cut open some bales of hay, open some bags of feed and cut some irrigation tubing. I had to leave work early today to go do something at my university, which I'm doing right now (posting from my phone).

jkarp_53 congratulations on your 1000th post!

I cut up a bunch of tires to make pylon stabilizers...

I used my knife to cut/slice/scrape paint samples off wood and brick sub-strates on a 100 year old historic building.

Also sliced some rope and cut some canvas and tarp material down to size.

A fairly typical day at the construction site.

This week I'm using my Rat-1 folder at work. I used it today to cut up a bunch of silicone tubing to length. A fairly mundane task for the Rat-1, handled with much aplomb.

Cut up a 8X12 piece of carpet that was stuck in and around 2
8 inch rollers.

But he didn't mean to put the machine in reverse. :grumpy:
