What did you use your knife for today?

today i ate an apple with my remora bk13..as for EDC, im lucky enough to live in a state that is very lax on knife laws now. So I carry a BK7/Remora combo everyday. when i have to drive my wifes car to work thats all i carry on my hip(I dont leave valuables in her car, no perticualr reason its just not MY vehicle lol) if i take my truck i hand carry my bk7/remora (which i call "Luck") that stays in my Tahoe and have a kershaw blur i pocket carry.

I don't have many hardcore everyday tasks that I put my knives through, but today I did put my Farid REX121 K2 through the wringer I guess. I recently had some scales made for it, and I needed a big knife to work with since today was very cold and I was wearing thick gloves. I cut up about 80 burlap bags and about 8 large bags of mulch. Afterwards, it still smoothly sliced copy paper, but not so smooth with phonebook paper. Stropped it about half an hour ago though, and it's back to shaving sharp.

Let's see... I cut some paper at work. Then I got home. One of our cats is sick, and poops all over the place. We put cardboard in strategic positions, which he used today. So I cut a bunch of holes in cardboard. Now, I just shaved some stray hairs off my cheeks. My EDC: Svord mini Peasant.

I have a work EDC rotation and regular EDC rotation. I do HVAC work and rather than trash expensive knives, I trash $30 Kershaw and send them back for sharpening and repair if they need it.

I was off today because of the weather so I carried my Kershaw Blur and I don't think I really did anything with it for most of the day, until the mail came and I used it to open the box that held my ZT0566. After that the Kershaw got put a way and I've been using the ZT. So far I've cut my hand twice and cut open a package of fruit snacks.

Typicaly my knives see alot of fishing line and chicken liver , i try to fish everyday for my sanity.
My moran field dressed a little spike buck two days ago.

Cut the tags off of some new pillows today. I hate when they brush up against your face when you try to sleep. Opened some packages too. Slow knife day haha

Spyderco delica 4 and i use it to open mail and i use it for other small random tasks. I carry the delica because it is a small people knife, even more so in a ffg with orange handles.

Today, pocket jewelry. No, wait...I did cut a clementine. It was not fresh so into the compost it went :(

My paramilitary 2 gets quite the workout on shipment days at work, cutting through tape and breaking down dozens of boxes to fit into the baler. On other days, I use a Buck 373 for whittling and an Opinel No. 8 for slicing veggies. Sometimes I find it therapeutic to just repeatedly open and close a knife or flip a balisong on particularly rough days- it's a little like squeezing a stress ball. Just can't do that around anyone else or I'll look like a psycho...

Opened a large box of holiday chocolates my wife sent to share with all my office mates. A mundane but important task for my old Camillus 1763. They were good too.

Opened a package of salmon. Also used my manix xl s90v to cut a hole in my bookshelf backing to turn it into an entertainment center.

Used my bm pardue 530; open boxes, stripped back some wire insulation, peeled an orange, cut some bunched up duct tape off of some equipment at work, opened a bag of ice melt, perhaps cleaned my finger nails? Can't remember was that today? And yes cleaned and sanitized the blade several times!

Just got my Rat 2 today, finally. With nothing better to use it on today, and feeling compelled to use it on something, I ate an orange. I started with an apple, but that was rotten inside. Hmm. I'm boring myself just typing this... XD

My best friend gave my daughter an old Sega Genesis gaming console today! I used my Utilitac 2 to tear down the box. Felt good to finally get a couple of marks on it.

Other than being a chef for 10 hours today, I used my folder to open boxes, but nothing exciting.

I used my edc sebenza to open a mailer box of a new knife received in the mail today. The circle of life.

Izula--opened a brick of cheese, a pack of beef jerky (my office is next to a butcher), removed my appendix, opened some packages, threatened the ups driver.
