What did you use your knife for today?

Was mountain climbing, about 170' up, got myself in a tight situation, so grabbed my ZT0200, flipped her open, jabbed it into a crevice in the side of the cliff, and had myself a perfect hand hold.............................................................................:D

Yeah okay, I did open some boxes tho...:o

I used my G10 Dragonfly to prepare brussel sprouts to be cooked in the pressure cooker. Kids like them with butter, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Broke down a couple pizza boxes from the weekend football games and cut the first half in to an inch off highlighters to extract the ink tube for colored dye.

To cut a mail man that was late with my package...
Nah, I had to leave my edc knife in the car since I spent most of the day in the federal building.

I used my Endura ZDP-189 to cut the plastic off a my new living room rug and all kinds of other crazy MacGyver tasks. My life is pure adrenaline!

Yesterday while on a walk I used my Tenacious to cut open an acorn so that I could teach my youngest about the miracle of life. I also dug sand and silt out of the opening of an apple snail shell she found. Heading for the beach now so probably not going to do much cutting today, but I have my Spyderco Harpy just in case :)

Please tell us the story on this one

It's not as exciting as you would think. I manage a cattle and exotic game ranch in the Texas Panhandle. I was having breeding pair of zebra delivered. 60 miles from the ranch something happened in the trailer and the mare broke her neck. We didn't have to pay for her but I asked my guy if he wanted to unload her to lighten his load for the trip home to south Texas. Now I have a zebra hide.

I was shocked at the effect cutting oranges has on an edge. I know they are acidic but Holy Crap! Wiped it off right away. Very dulling to a really sharp blade. I wonder if it has anything to do with the steel composition.
