  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What did you use your SAK for today?

Trimmed a few branches off the Christmas tree so it’d fit in the base.

Also reamed out a hole so the spike in the base would have a place to land.

This is late, but I forgot!

On Thanksgiving, the host broke their corkscrew earlier in the day. When they wanted to open another bottle of wine just before dinner, I came to the rescue with my Ranger. That was the first corkscrewing for that corkscrew!

On Friday during my fire building practice, I worked on a neglected Cold Steel tomahawk. I removed the rust with some sandpaper and worked on the edge for a while with it as well. I tried to use the file on the Ranger to remove some metal a little more quickly, but the file isn't quite hard enough to work well on steel, even something as soft as a tomahawk.
