I've been renovating a tattoo parlour for a while (we're doing all the work ourselves in our free time), I've got proper tools at hand but both my beater Pioneer and ST Spirit have proven very useful.

I used the awl a lot, mostly to drill wood for screws (we've got loads of framed paintings that needed fixing). The drivers for screws that didn't need a lot of torque. The pliers to take old pegs and screws out of the walls. The blade to open packages, trim wood, etc.

I should snap some pictures before we're done.
