What do "Edge to Edge" impact tests prove? ( cool pics)

Uh ohh... I just chopped up a buddies ($t$$$$$)knife a couple of months ago in a demo of "Nuclear Toughness"! I sure hope he doesn't read this...

Oh well, the carnival trick worked on me and everyone else around at the time. More piglets to the trough... We should have a "Pig Piper" award for the person who converts the most non-believers and leads them to the slaughter house ,,err,, I mean trough....

Another very interesting thread done a long time ago. Cliffs Techno babble even confused Jerry, no surprise there though:D

enjoy:thumbup:

There was a thread a few days back where the Dark Ops folder met INFI, and was sent to that big knife repository in the sky. What I'd have REALLY liked to see, would've been, how the INFI did against the blade of the D.O. folder, rather than just the handle.

These sorts of posts show the dangers of challenging common wisdom. Its a sure bet that this guy "Jerry" will never make anything of himself or his business.

Yeah! Who does he think he is any way? You would think he makes "nuclear tough" knives or something. sheesh. :p

Jerry,

All I can say is that when I whacked my Battle Rat edge up against my AK 47 edge, the Battle Rate edge dented and the AK didn't. This led me to conclude that the INFI material was superior and I have adjusted my purchases accordingly.

I went edge to edge about two inches up from the choil of both blades. Basically I whacked the AK down onto the Battle Rat.

Official Statement: I will never claim that the resulting damage from this test warrants repair/replacement by the manufacturer of either knife. This was an intentionally inflicted damage. Likewise, this test does not diminish the inherent quality and reputation of these knives in any way.

Jerry, for a simple guy like myself, could you perhaps share an opinion as to why the INFI defeated the SR-101 in this case? I am aware that there are myriad variables to consider, but I would be interested in what you think.

look at the original date. Jerry's hosting service probably went out of business years ago:D

I noticed it was from 10 years ago.

I still wouldn't mind seeing some knife carnage though
