What do I get?

kneedeep, I've been suggesting (begging?) for a larger one of these for some time now. 3 3/4" or 4" blade done up in S30V, 154CM or ZDP would be the bomb!

I've mentioned wanting to see a full size Mojo/Mojito to anyone I've gotten on the phone at Kershaw for at least the last year and a half.

These seem pretty hard to come by. No Mojitos at Knifecenter or New Graham, and on eBay i only managed to find one (from a reputable seller). But the price was a bit over the top. Is the Mojito seeing very limited production or is it the christmas shoppers who've bought them all?

Flanker,

Please go back to post # 17 on the previous page...that should help you out!

Merry Christmas!

Just a little update from me... I emailed Kershaw and asked about the availability of the Mini-Mojito, as I could only find the old 440A Mojo at the larger online retailers (New Graham & Knifecenter.com to name two). Here's their answer:

Hi there,

Since we started using the Sandvik steel in early 2007, I suspect that the online retailers had not changed their script on this knife, and the ones you are seeing really ARE the new steel!! You could always call the company to double check but we changed the steel in January of 2007.

Thanks!

So it might be more readily available than we think :)

add me to the mini-mojo/ito squad also. i want it, but i doubt i would use it (BIG HANDS). still a very nice knife, and great for the money.

the leek is a good choice in s30v also. so is the blur.

the blur may be the more "universal" of those three. larger for bigger jobs, but can take on smaller jobs too. has a great steel, reguardless of what you get (13c26, s30v, SG2). nice and grippy.

either way, you will get a great knife :D
