Since this knife has generated a lot of questions, it was suggested I make a separate post to see if we can figure out what it is.

It was part of my Mystery Grab Bag.

Sorry for the pic quality, I'll try and get some better shots of it.

So, what is it?

Swamp Rat Rodent 4 variant.

You have one of the coolest grab bag scores yet, that's what! Hopefully Garth or Jerry will chime in with some answers

Obviously defective and dangerous. Send to me for proper disposal. Seriously though, that is wicked cool, congrats. !!!Needs to be offered in OP2W!!!

I believe zmbhntr hit the nail on the head in the mystery is history thread.
Trash 1 variant with micarta instead of res c handles. Beautiful knife!

What are the specs/size?

Wouldn't it be great if this was a new model, the Infi version of the sykco skinner.

Like I said in the other thread, it looks like it could have been a Gossman/Busse collaboration (how cool would that be?), as it has a handle similar to what Scott puts on his Tuskers and a Busse style Rhino Horn shaped trASH blade... Could call this one the African Plains Safari Skinner!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I think i know what that is but you will need to send that to me for further inspection

If I get one of those in my grab bag, all will be well and right in the world.

That clip point makes me think Custom Shop Infidu a bit but the handle almost looks Swamp Rat. Infidu handle has lanyard hole on top instead of bottom like this one does. Switch lanyard hole location and it looks close. I think its a mash up of a couple of different knives. I like it though to be honest. I love anything resembling a bowie.

Thats a sweet looking knife whatever it is.

Looks like a busse, scrapyard and swamprat variant.

Here are some specs as best as I could measure with equipment on hand.

11 7/8" OAL
5 3/4" tip to plunge line
5 5/16" tip to beginning of choil
6 3/16" tip to beginning of handle
5 5/8" handle
7/32" thick
1 3/4" blade width

Doesn't look like a trash 1 variant to me but the others who think so know better than I. I would like to hear officially what it is.
