What do I have?

I'm a collector - not a seller. Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing, yet. I want to find and restore vintage Swiss Army Knives. I missed the fact that the rivets were mangled on one end of of this knife. Can somebody tell me more about this knife? Was it made by ERN for Swiss? I thought the Swiss weren't crazy about their knives being made in Germany, so is it a Swiss Army knife?

I learned Rostfrei means stainless, but what does Noxin mean? I haven't found any references to the "R" stamps on the bottle opener and can opener. Perhaps it means, "Rostfrei/Stainless"?

This knife looked like it was mangled by a kid - the scratch marks were very severe. I tried to remove most of them. This is my first restore. I would love to know the time period of this knife. The copper/brass rivets leads me to believe it's older. Can the mangled one be repaired? Any guidance to books, websites, or any other reading material would be welcomed.

Maker is Gustav Emil Ern, Solingen, Germany.

"Noxin" sounds like a variant of the word "INOX" which is short for "inoxydable" which is French for "stainless," so perhaps their trademark name for their stainless steel (like Case uses "Tru-sharp" as a name). Just a guess.
