Because of the skulls in the burl:
Seraphim
"The name seraphim clearly indicates their ceaseless and eternal revolution about Divine Principles, their heat and keenness, the exuberance of their intense, perpetual, tireless activity, and their elevative and energetic assimilation of those below, kindling them and firing them to their own heat, and wholly purifying them by a burning and all-consuming flame; and by the unhidden, unquenchable, changeless, radiant and enlightening power, dispelling and destroying the shadows of darkness"
Wiki
I like that name. It sounds badass.
Thanks. The description of seraphim almost sounds like the forging process to me, too. I noticed the burl first, the blue liners, and the lines that it forms with the tang and the handles. For some reason it I think of purity and power, something Seraphim wholly represent.
And it is a badass name. Very powerful...
lets name it the way many companies do for their knives
Custom 01 carbon steel blade 5/32" thick with a 4" long blade, 5"handle, 9" overall
hehe, wait till someone asks for you knife's name. that'll be a mouthful
or Aceraceae01 the handle is made from maple burl, which the maple family's full latin name is Aceraceae, and the blade is 01.
I like that name. It sounds badass.
