What do people think of the mini fixed blades?

Well I can't explain anything of the new company but the mini Tac is Niice knife was pretty cool I have one and I also have a Tokyo Spike I find them to be super blades

That was the same version I had.

The old style hard plastic sheath failed so I lost it.

It only cost me $9.00 in 1990.

I just ordered 2 of these…$17 each. Almost all the reviews were positive. One utube reviewer loved his…only problem he had was the handle material disintegrated, but he was pretty sure some sort of solvent he was working with caused that.

I actually really like the design…was about to purchase all 3 blade shapes but decided against it. In the end I felt they should have used a better steel (ie. aus10) and a different “country of origin”.

Not necessarily…but I would love for all knives to be made in the USA. I own a good number of Taiwan made knives and find their craftsmanship to be very good. I would of just preferred the Mini Leatherneck to be made with better materials and in a country that is known for good manufacturing. I do own 2 GI Tantos, but only got them after seeing so many good reviews and they are ridiculously cheap.

Any suggestions to boot carry a Kyoto or Mini Leatherneck? C-Clip? Any others? Specifically for boot. They don’t come with sheath clips.

Do you think this is a good design? I kinda like it, kinda don't see the point. The proportions look funny, too. I'm not sure what it's for... I guess a last ditch defensive blade? Maybe it's just a small fixed blade to EDC and do utility tasks?

I gotta be honest. When I got into fixed blades I dident even know what cold steel was. But after purchasing an srk compact. I was hooked. Now I own half their catalog lol including all the minis but the tanto with the same handle as pictured above. Their not perfect but everyone needs something to needs a starter knife or something to cut your teeth with. These are perfect and if you mess one up or lose it. Their tent bucks a pop on sale about 50% off the time on Amazon. I have not going a budget company that rivals cold steel and it's not even close. I own nicer stuff but I still love cold steel.

Love the Kyoto, I even made a custom sheath for it, hate everything else. Not a mini tho, definitely EDC size for most people. Mini is more like a Super edge tho, which I never handled by the way. I'm getting a handful of Demko Armiger 2 knives in the mail tomorrow for Christmas presents/stocking stuffers tho, curious to see wether they're really useful or not, and I guess they'll give me feel for what the SE or similar micro fixie is and does as well.
