Yeah, being prepared for what life always throws at me and minimalist don't generally go together... Its a minimal amount of stuff for what I am prepared for.

All relative I guess... I know guys that look like batman with all the gear on their belt, or loaded cargo pockets..-- 2 guns, 5 knives, radios, phones, and enough tools to raise and re-build the titanic..



You don't want to know what i carry in the car or worse, the 4x4.

I carry a slippy in my front right pocket and a bandana in my back right pocket.

Everthing else goes in a small fanny bag

Typical daily carry for me.

The Buck Smidgen on my keys has been my always knife since I got it. The others change daily but my usual combination is a medium or small slipjoint with a large lockback or a medium sized fixed blade.

Everyday I carry a Case medium Stockman in my FRP. I also carry more tactical knife clipped to my FRP usually a Spyderco Delica or a Salt 1.

Today for a knife it is a Spyderco UK pen knife, other days it may be a Case Sodbuster (CV) or a Boker Red bone traper in the right hand front pocket, Keys and such go in the left hand front pocket. Usually have a can of Skoal somewhere in an empty rear pocket. Billfold goes to the right rear.

This has been my EDC for probably over a year now. I love this knife.

I sometimes throw my BM Mini-grip on my pocket along with the canoe.
