I hope this is not to lame of a question... but what do you call the rivet type thingss that hold the handle on the blade?

A little know INFI fact:

The holes in the guards have to be so precise they can only use a special drill bit made by the Farking factory.

True story. Amy told me. Well, I had to piece it together. She said that every time Jerry walked onto the production floor, he yelled, "Get me that Farking Talon Hole!" Seconds later, Garth would be at his side.

I call them Ziglets, but then I'm nuts...

You can trust this man.

I've met him.

He is indeed nuts.

[But in a mostly harmless way.]

Hmmm... who isn't nuts? I know I'm no where near normal, and I don't even know if I know any that is normal...
but that would be cool if you put Jerry and I in the same boat :)

Nuts is a pre-req for this silly hobby that I can't seem to quit..

really, all they are is stainless steel tubing, that is flared out. Kind of a great way to attach handles if you ask me. They do take a lot of abuse, but are still removable (with a drill). You can put new ones on with a bit of work, and the right equipment (like a vice grip, and some filed off screw heads).

Means the handle scales aren't held on with glue.

Depends on whether you mean the hollow ones or the smooth ones.

If you mean the hollow ones, I call them "not nearly as sexy as the smooth ones"

If you mean the smooth ones, I call them "the best handle fasteners I've ever seen"
