What do you collect Fixed, Folding, or both?

I collect both. I probably have more folders than fixed, but most of my best knives are fixed. There's something about a great fixed blade that I can't resist.
 
I own one fixed blade, but all the knives that I accumulate (collect is way too pretentious a word for what I do) these days are folders.

Don't see the point in buying a knife that I can't carry.
 
currently, 100% folders, although i've been lusting after a fixed blade on jim mattis' site for ages--it's labelled as a kitchen knife, but i wants it just to hold in me hands...

i see fixed blades in my future in other words

I've been collecting (?... yeah, I guess you could call it that) folder so far. But, I've recently picked up a few fixed, and discovered that with a little modification of the sheaths and my dress, I can carry them about as easily as the folders, and have a better knife. So, I'll probably be switching over to more fixed now.

I really don't "collect" knives per se. I acquire knives when I come across one that fulfills some need, either practical or psychological. I only have about 20 knives worth mentioning, and they only folders I have are the two I carry on me for defensive/utility purposes; a Spyderco Civilian and a Gerber Applegate/Fairbairn Combat Folder. The Spyderco for shock value (and it really is useful for certain things), and the A/F for it's size. I would like to find something of a similar size as the A/F but of better quality. Mine has been used and sharpened many times and is getting a little raggedy-looking.
 
I like both. Sometimes I get the feeling that I need more fixed blades or more folders.
