Or what would you collect if you could? I think of my self as more of an accumulator. If I like it I buy it and sometimes I end up with a collection. When I was younger I collected skulls and old taxidermy mounts. I the past I have had up to 15 old Chevys from the 30s and 40s. They have all been sold. Collecting takes time and or money. As and artist and a dealer in fossils I have dealt with collectors for the last 25 years. I have heard it said that one of the reasons that the rich get richer is that if they are wise they by things of lasting value and the average person shops at Wal-Mart. Today I picked up one of the finest mammoth tusks I have ever seen. I sold it with a phone call to a friend who makes knives for the super rich in Texas. He will have no trouble getting rid of it.
