What do you do with old belts?

I take my fairly worn out 120 grit Blaze belts and cut them into thirds. If I have a newly made knife with fairly wear resistant steel that needs an edge, I use a couple of clamps and clamp one of the cut belts down onto a sheet of glass and use it to establish the edge bevel. Sort of like having a really long 120 grit stone.

I put nails and screws in the walls where there is any extra space and hang the belts to use as dust collectors. When the collection capacity of the belts are full, I carefully throw them away. At least that's my excuse for having so many belts around that I'll never use again.
