  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What do you drive?

This is my great Skoda Octavia Stationcar. Its a 2019 model with a 1,5 liter petrol motor, and automatic gearbox.
Its the motor and gearbox as a VW golf.
Really great car with great space for childseats and strolers.

As far as personal transportation, since I was 16 it's been two wheels or nothing for me (by choice). It hasn't always been easy, life on two wheels can be a challenge sometimes, but it's the life I choose, and never regretted. I don't own any 4-wheeled vehicles.

I own two Honda Shadow Sabre 1100's. Been riding one of them just about every day for the past 21 years (bought new in 2003). I bought the second one new in 2006 (2005 model year). I always liked having a back-up bike, and I had an old Suzuki I wanted to get rid of, so I used it as a trade-in on the 05. The 05 is my back-up ride, but it turned out I never needed it.

My 03 daily rider. Twenty years of mods and changing tastes in style and needs, it looks nothing like it did new.

With the right cargo rack (I have 5 different ones), it's possible to carry a wide variety of things. Neither of the pics below show the most I've carried on one of my bikes, not even close.

I call this rack my "flat-bed". It ain't pretty, but it gets the job done.
