knife fumbler,
I am glad you posted about using your LCC. I used to use my mini-fang to eat all the time. But now that I got my LCC I was reluctant. But I guess if it works for you.....What finish is yours? Stonewash?

yeah, mine's stonewash. i love the look of stonewash and the scratches from the fork and other things blend right in.
it's great as a food cutter.
i'd have to say though, between the BM 710BT and the LCC, the 710BT is a little better food eater because the blade curves up a little more at the tip.
i still like to use the LCC though because of the flat grind.

ohh yeah, thanks for pointing me to Allen Blade for the LCC sheath.
he's going to make two and i'm buying the other from him.

Hello
Me and knifemaker Flavio Ikoma were forced to use our folders twice against wild pizzas during the last two Blade shows, in Atlanta, at the mall close to the show. Nobody seemed to care and the only problem was that we cut the plastic dishes...

I usually use my 710hs or AFCK(bt) when cutting food at home. I haven't done it in public because it wouldn't go over well here in SF. But it sure is easy to clean food off of those teflon coated blades. And I had to laugh at this - I do it too -

Of course, I realize that cleanliness is vital so, before cutting up our food, I wipe the blade on my jeans. ;-)</font>

Claus,
I didn't know there were any fellow forumites here in Germany!
I agree about the snacking in the Biergarten. Summer in Bayern (Bavaria) is indeed a wonderful time. The food and beer is incredible.
As a soldier I use my Emerson CQC7 to open MREs and other food items in the field. When I am in civilian clothes I use either my Large Sebenza or my LCC\DA.

UND TSCHÜß,

NICK

I too carry a buck stockman & use it for both gutting my deer AND cutting sadwiches.Sometimes I even wash it in between!!!!!!!
