what do you guys know about vertigo..medical advice needed..

Blackwatch,

Sounds like you are on the right track. Well, you said your vertigo episodes are down to only once or so per year, so that's pretty great. For cardio, if you have any hills around your house, whether they be sidewalks, streets, or wilderness, you should give 'em a shot - you'll be amazed at both how tiring hills are and how beneficial they are  I found that hiking regularly strenghtened my legs in such a way as to make me faster in sprinting. My cardiovascular endurance was also wonderful.

I understand about not having the finances to afford the gym; do you have any type of wieght set at your house?

Yeah, I do work out at home when I can...but I don't think it helps as much as the cardio did. I mean, yeah, it involves balance, but I think the cardio bonus of blood flow and speed helps me more. I finally have a, at least temp, job so I should be able to afford the gym again. Also, I am staking out a hill around here.
