What do you guys like for pens? ...

Mostly into Fountain Pens, and I am a HUGE fan of LAMY products, you cannot go wrong with them. However in a roller I usually buy pens that can use the Pilot G2 or Uniball 207 refill. There are many brands of roller that will do this: Waterman, Aurora, Montverde, and many others. If the pen takes a "universal" rollerball refill (or if a Waterman brand roller refill with fit) then a G2 or 207 will as well. Waterman is among your best bang for the buck in a high-end pen, and Auroras are awesome but pricey.

Not much of a fan of retractable rollerballs, as they have the tendency to leak in your pocket if you are not careful. As for the brand, I like Waterman and Sheaffer.

I like the Zebra pens. Usually have one with the plastic knurled grip, a 301 series I think, and one of the rubber gripped 701's with me. I like the way they write with the fine refills. (I don't have a problem with the Zebra refills) I work in sales and they are cheap enough that if I hand it to a customer to sign something and they comment on the pen, I give it to them. I will (or the person who buys the office supplies:D) buys the 301's by the dozen, so it's not a big deal to give one away.

The rubber gripped Zebra is the F-402, the full stainless steel Zebra is the F-701. Semantics, I know.

I have a lot if Cross pens and Fisher space pens that I like to use.

I used to carry around a Lamy Safari with converter cartridge, but Noodler's ink doesn't sit well with it. Just recently, I picked up one of Noodler's pens just to test it out and, though the plastic does smell funny, the pen writes well. The Lamy Safari is still used now and again though, because it works nicely with Aurora Black, but I find that it's nice to have a theaded cap so it doesn't come undone in my pocket like the Safari often would.

I Like the Black Fisher Space Pen, and Cross pens. As far as plastic throw away pens... the sharpie brand ink pens.

I use mostly cheapie pens. For ballpoint I like the Zebra F-301. It's a very smooth writer and the same barrel will take ball point refills or the roller/gels. They also have a matching pencil if you need a set. For roller balls, the zebra is decent, the Pilot G-2 is good and believe it or not, Skilcraft makes a roller ball that is one of the smoothest I've ever used. I've owned a few Fisher pens, but just couldn't get into them. They write upside down, but they aren't very smooth, even right side up.

I use a Fisher Bullet pen. Not for everyday office work, but it is extremely handy when I'm on the go. I used to keep pens in my shirt pocket or back pocket, but that was an accident waiting to happen.

Fisher isn't necessarily the most high quality writing instrument out there, but the bullet is compact and rides in the pants pocket well.

Fisher Space Pens. I have a handful of their products that I use for work/school and can't beat 'em. Plus, I can just take them back to REI if they give me any problems.

I like the Pilot Knight fountain pen. It's a little heavy, but it writes very well. Good price too at ~ $40.

Zebra F-701 for me but I need to pick up one of the CountryComm's soon!

They write really well, comfy grip, and Fisher refills round out the deal. The SS pen will give you some cramps when writing for extended periods, the aluminum is perfect, as is the Ti (buy pricer).

I found this inside a plastic bag at a hotel room in Cabo San Lucas. Did not know what i had till I goggled it. I
t was left behind the dresser, when I went to plug in my laptop I was pleasantly surprised to find it, inside its box.
I went to the front desk to see if anyone had asked about forgetting something in my room number. The guy said no, but then asked me what I had found. My rat radar went off and I told him to forget it. It’s on my desk most of the time. I only use it on special occasions.

Lucky bast... :D

I just wrote out a letter with my Mont Blanc 149.

If you ever do have any need to sell it it won't be hard. Pen enthusiasts snatch up Mont Blanc as quick as they can.
