What do you guys think about the buck 119 cabela alaskan guide?

The Alaskan guide knives are nice if you like the yellow logo and coated blade. I can’t remember what steel that line has, if I recall it was some version of CPM steel, any of which will be better than 420HC.

I love it but would be my new cabinet queen.

it is just utterly beautiful, a work of art but that damn logo is a deal breaker..not sure who decided it was a good idea

Yup I was going to get the vanguard Alaskan guide version, but I didn’t like the logo and the handle felt really slick. Otherwise it was a solid knife.
