What do you guys think of blade coatings?

They can be useful for corrosion protection, but I don't particularly care for black. My Blackjack Campanion has a very tough grey epoxy coating. The super hard aluminum/titanium/nitride coating on my BassPro 110 in CPM154 is attractive and functional. The Cerakote on my Cabella's D2 Grippie seems quite tough and seems to help when cutting sticky stuff. Overall I prefer plain steel, though.
