What do you guys use your knife for?

Things I did yesterday not previously listed -
Cut down gallon water jugs to make plant containers
Cut the tips off of tubes of caulk
Cut a template out of cardboard to transfer a pattern to hardware cloth
Sliced a row of silicon caulk off the edge of a board prior to recaulking a crack
Dug several blackberry thorns out of my hand after I found a dried cane in the grass the hard way

- wedged mud and dog poop from the treads of my tennis shoes

Disposable plastic butter knives work well for this task, or a wooden popsicle stick.

I use a knife a lot for cleaning mud from the tread of tennis shoes or other shoes. Much to my wife's irritation, it is after I go inside the house. Basically I am not programmed to look at my shoe soles and then I see mud... go back outside or head for the garage to remedy.

Never did the poop thing with a knife. I use a water hose for this mostly.
