Okay, I've been instructed that I have had my fun and it is time to get back to work. With my personal life fairly well settled now, and my work life being steady, I s'pose I have no excuses. I won't be able to be on here all day, but I will do my best to be around here more.

So that being said, what do you hooligans want to see more of? Contests? Informative threads? Moose in a kilt? Speak now or forever hold your piece!

Also, I would like to apologize for being so absent. Life happens, but I should do better. You folks deserve better.

That being said, chime in, or else Bladite will get ya!
 
Good to have you back around. I wish Moose would come back as well. Life does happen though.

Anything outdoorsy works for me.

I'd love contests even if they're not to win anything but bragging rights. Anything to use as an excuse to get outdoors is good. :thumbup:

Actually, I just want to see friendly competitions, with "smaller" prizes.

Maybe micarta slabs, Becker Patches, Hats or Tees (I would even paypal a few bucks)
Say hats were the prizes for X amount of entrants, and a spot was $5 to take the sting off of the cost of having them made, I would be all about it!
 
Any thing that involves knives in the great outdoors would be fine with me. Creative fire making, gear usage, skill demonstrations etc.
 
I did a sharpest ESEE contest years back on the jungle training forum. There were a lot of participants and a fun thing to judge. Those days are long gone though :D

or just GP - "who went outside today, prove it with a picture" thread.
 
I've always liked the one stick fire challenges! True sign of a good outdoorsman is his ability to start a fire in the rain.

I'm kind of digging the random drive by idea. The last few months I'd struggle with contests requiring actually being outside. :grumpy:

A contest to come up with a contest, that is a brilliant idea! We will see about making that happen sooner rather than later!

Also, on the shirts front, things are cookin. Might have something lining up for that soon.
