I don't see enough Mnandi love on here. It's like the forgotten little brother. Maybe I'm just not on here often enough. I just got a new walnut Mnandi and it's getting all my attention. I wish I still had the ones I sold years ago, African blackwood, lignum vitae, snakewood, box elder, and I want to rebuild a similar collection starting with this new one. I like the wood inlay on the Mnandi better than on either of the Sebenzas.

So go ahead, instead of me rambling about what I like, you tell me what you like about the Mnandi.

Count me in as a Mnandi lover. Maybe we should start a separate section on the Forum for us.

There are so many things I could list to answer your post. It is a Gorgeous knife, a true piece of artwork. It reminds me of something my Grandfather used to carry, and that's a pleasant memory for me.

I also like having a smaller blade at times when I know I'm not going to need a Sebenza or an XM-18. It is refined and stylish. And i think most of all, I love how no one ever makes a comment to me along the lines of "Hey, you planning on killing somebody with that" when I pull out a knife because I need one as a tool.

I could go on and on. My only gripe about them is that there are too many woods to choose from. I want to own a dozen. They are all great in their own way.

I too would like to hear from other members on this posting. And if anyone isn't familiar with them, watch Archman's review on the 'tube. He does it justice IMHO.

Tons of great knives in the world, including the Mnandi. I think most folks that partake in knife forums are EDC and tactical focused.

For me, the Mnandi is the perfect gents knife. Very thing about it perfect, FnF, size to weight, etc.

I sold one Mnandi in order to fund another one. And I highly doubt I'll ever sell that one. I would love to buy a Box Elder version, but too many other knives ahead of it. But that doesn't mean I don't love Mnandi's.

I choose Mnandi over small Sebs. I like how light and unobtrusive they are in the pocket. I like how refined and non-tactical they look. I like how I can use them in public without causing panic. I like how smooth they open and close compared to Sebenzas. I like how the wood inlays look on them compare to Sebenzas. I like that they don't have pointy, uncomfortable thumb studs that get in the way of some cuts and sharpening. I like that I can give them as gifts without getting bewildered or disapproving looks... not that I have a habbit of giving $360 gifts... only once, to my father.

I agree very much with what has been said here. Personally I love it's timeless look. It reminds me of my grandfather or at least the era of when men were men and gentleman at the same time. It's Simple, strong but yet classy. Oh and it is a CRK.
I do not think there is another manufacture who can compare to this knife.

I wish I never sold my Mnandi, I'll be getting another for Christmas.

I wish it came with a titanium inlay, but other then that I like the look. Never had the chance to handle one though. :(

I was about to pick one up a few months back, but the buyer sold it to someone else and I picked up a Lg. Regular instead.

I LOVE my Mnandi's!

I think my favorite part about the Mnandi is the fact it's a functional cutting tool that proves as a flashy/exquisite accessory to one's attire.

Of my 3 plain jane Sebenzas and 2 Mnandis' it is ALWAYS the Mnandi that is instantaneously recognized as Quality/Money to non-knife people.

The wood inlays, solid Ti [pen like] clip, the contrast of polished/sand blasted Ti, and it's overall elegant/original look make for quite a tool AND conversation piece. Never fails to attract attention/interest.

Very nice - high five!

Hey, what's the wood on that second one -- burled maple? It's gorgeous!
