What Do You Mainly Use Your Beckers For?

I take my 2 and 14 everytime I go camping. Have used the 2 alot with my scout troop, showed the boys how to baton and make fuzz sticks with it, chop, etc. In the fall I will be teaching the Totin Chip class (scout knife/ax course) and then my verison of it as well and I will be using all of my Beckers for that. I will admit, I dont use the 7 that much. I will be putting the new 9 to use this weekend. I am going to get some tweeners next week, I am thinking I may use them a little more, just based on ease of carry, but we will see.

The most used becker of mine is probably my 11 which I edc, the next would be the 15 because that is my main kitchen knife and I am the one that does all the cooking in the house. Of course any time I am even gunna be close to woods the 9 comes with my. Damn I love that knife, I basically use it as a machete/axe/knife/..............well you know its the KING. Lately It has been getting a good workout between fueling the smoker at my parents house and clearing the shooting range me and a buddy of mine have been working on.

My Beckers get used less in the summer time out here, only about a month to go and it's back to 4wheeling and camping.
For now a little yard work keeps them in shape.
EDC duties go to the IZULA,BK14,Rat1,and Dragonfly2,in rotation.
Somedays I barley get to cut anything which makes me sad.

That's why I never bothered getting a 7. I feel the 14,2, and 9 pretty much cover all the bases.

I like the BK-7 for the opposite reason: IMO it sort of splits the difference between the big BK-9 and the smaller BK-2. It can do bigger tasks better than the BK-2 can, and it can do smaller tasks better than the BK-9 can. It's a good handy size for a little bit of everything.

I mostly carry a half dozen or more around in the floorboard of my Jeep to help lower gas mileage.

Ha. That is exactly where mine are 90% of the time. Unless I'm running without doors, then they're behind the tailgate.

Good reasoning. I guess my outlook is because the 2 was my first, then the 9, and then the 14. Perhaps if I would have purchased the 7 first, it would be different.

I find myself using the Machax the most. I've used it for clearing brush and chopping down small trees and general farm chores.
Here it is like new.

Here it is after a little performance enhancement.

Cool thread Warrior, but it needs more pics.:D

The 9 and 16 are getting the most use lately. The nine is one of the best "camp" knives ever made and is always near the cooking fire. Handy for everything. The 16 handles all the bushcrafty stuff and steak cutting jobs. :D Don't leave home without it. The kitchen help dearly loves her 15.

Warrior let me just say thank you for keeping it real.. Personally i think its too hot to use any knives outdoors period... But to be honest i have sold most of my beckers to fund steel fabrication, however i do still have the blades ethan gave me 11, 14, and the 9. Of which only the 9 has seen use, and that was last wintwr .tk be honest my folders have been the only knives to see use this spring/summer.. But soon hopefully my story will change.

I hope to get some camping in come Fall. It's been my wife and I's tradition to go the last weekend at Rend Lake. Last time we went it got down to 23°, but we prepare for it. It's been too hot to do much of anything. I can't handle the heat.
