Gday all we’ve all been there trading or selling a blade then have regrets about it I’ll start off I sold an esee Junglas I really wish I didn’t I did it to get a cold steel trailmaster and a bk9 and they are both great but I really miss that esee. So what do you regret selling or trading?

Many, but I was thinking about this knife today. It was Mora 4" blade that had a custom handle of brass and resin cord wrap. It was a very cool little Mora IMO. The guy made a couple to sell on Ebay. He called it a tactical Mora.

I traded a knife I had as a kid and wish I still had it today.
I don't know what it was but it's the kind of knife I'd definitely carry today if it was any good.

It's was a very slim and thin black composit handled lockback with a mirror polished stainless clip point blade , with a straight clip and no swedge.
It was a nail nick opener.

It had a logo molded into the handle which was a diamond with fassets and the word diamond above or below it.
It was a knife my dad had laying around and gave me, and I'm assuming it was probably from the mid 90's.

I'd sure love to know what it was if anyone knows.

Easy answer. My Boker Exskelibur 1 ti framelock. Atleast it went to a friend who cherishes it but man that was the perfect 3.5 inch edc knife. Because of Boker Plus’s crappy fit and finish I was lucky to get a copy that was absolutely flawless.

Here’s a pic I often post showing how thin this knife is next to a large Sebenza 21.

Benchmade 151. Nothing exotic but once it was gone I realized how handy it was. And it was my only stainless fixed blade, which filled an occasional niche.

The two that comes to mind are:
Case Texas Lockhorn in yellow micarta
Puma 4star with beautiful stag handles.

I’m a dumb ass.

My biggest regret selling, was a ZT mudd, it was a beast in the pocket, but what a cool knife it was.

Luckily I haven’t had much regret for the ones I’ve sold. I don’t recall replacing any that I’ve sold so that’s a good sign. I really ponder over selling something for a while to make sure I want to do it. If there’s any doubt I don’t do it.

The one that haunts me was the Doug Ritter (M390) with custom scales.

Those I would not sell, especially the small.

Oh, wow...let's see. How about my 3 CPK Shivs, CPK 6" Fighter and both of my Microtech Socom Elites. I could go further....:oops::oops:

I sold an orange Spyderco Dodo. Regretted it for a few years until I replaced it. Such a cool little knife.

I've sold or traded or gifted a lot of knives over the years. The only knife I miss and regret selling was my ZT 0560BW. I need to get another one, but always miss my chance to get one on the exchange.
