What do you Spydie COLLECTORS EDC???

I generally carry two, a Kiwi and a large folder. I have a strong preference for models which have a front lock and a usable 50/50 choil and prefer my larger folder to have a full flat ground blade. Lately, it's been one of these Kiwis most of the time. Jigged bone, with Tom Krein ffg treatment...

...or David Yellowhorse "Night Eagle"...

Coupled with one of these. CF Stretch II...

Mostly an Orange Military recently but my Salt 1 will see more action with the summer coming.

Caly 3 (G-10) or Military (G-10, S30V) or Calypso Jr. black FRN (ZDP-189) or FB01 Bill Moran or FB04 Perrin are in my EDC rotation. From time to time also a C22 Worker Carbon or a Sante Fe Stoneworks Kiwi ... all in PE.

Even though I'm not a collector...

PE Pacific Salt
and
SE Tasman Salt

Sometimes another Salt might take the place of one of the above for some crazy reason for a day, but those are my...well, I carry those almost every day. (I won't use that acronym.)

I'd be much less boring (and could be a "collector") if the Salts (at least the PE Pacific) were available with more FRN colors.

such as

White
Gray
Navy Blue
Denim Blue
Foliage Green
OD Green
Orange
Tan
Brown
Red
Maroon

My EDC for the past 10 + years is an older Russell 3/4 size white Horn with the flat grind blade and the clip removed. Sits easy and light in my everyday pocket. Pulls out easy and the one hand feature is handy for opening mail and other daily chores. For heavier work I sometime carry Delica 4 PE. Have also started carrying an Urban with the leaf blade when a pocketclip showing is OK.

 You actually use yours?:eek::confused::eek:

ONE of them my friend! :D They were both (bought two) so perfect from Tom Berry that I had to decide the carry knife by a minute grind difference. The safe queen is perfect enough in fit, finish and function that it could be called custom in those respects ;)

I checked out the backspacer on my (one of my, one's used, the other is locked in a padded box. ;) ) orange millie and it's so perfectly flush it's stupid. I mean I can't even tell it's not part of the handle.

LOVE THIS MILLIE! :D

Mini Persian is in my pocket 5 days a week. I don't really count as a collector yet, but I am already shopping for more.

It blaspheme I know but... I have been EDCing a kershaw JYDII with Ti handles and SG2 blade a lot recently, but my CPM-D2 para rode in my pocket for a couple days this week so it is still putting up a good fight in my edc rotation.

It varies, recently it was the Volpe (just not appreciated for its quality), but today it is a Meerkat. Funny thing about the Meerkat is that it has dual liners and was production back in the days when you rarely saw dual liners. That was due to the phantom lock of course, but I wonder if it would have been more popular had it been released now-a-days, when everyone wants dual liners?

My Spydies range in size from D3s to a Military, but my G10 Caly 3 gets 90% of my Spyderco carry. It's the only model that I have a backup for and it's the only one where I've acquired and kept the SE version (I have no real use for SE blades, I just like the Caly 3s so much that I wanted the whole family). I use the CF Caly 3 occasionally for dress, and one day, I'll find a black UKPK to finish the group.

I passed a hundred Spydies a while back. The S90V/CF Military gets carried all the time and used hard. The S90V Mule gets carried all week and used for things I don't want to use the Millie on. Micarta C39 Dyad Jr. anchors the watch pocket with a C44 Dyad clipped to the main pocket below it. UKPK has ridden LFP for the last couple of years. Others rotate through depending on my mood in the morning.
