What do you think about the new larger folding Fallkniven?

I would like a nice half inch longer U-2, but Peter says it would be too big for a "pocket" knife. A 3" U-2 would just about be PERFECTION in a light high durability edged user.

Not sure about the new one. Looks derivative of a bunch of other knives.

If I'm not mistaken, the P1 is pretty much the same knife as the Hiro Little Blue Liner Lock. Only negative I've heard on them is that the laminated VG10 bends rather easily.

They've been around for a while .... in fact the Fallkniven website shows a new version in SGPS (!) which I would definitely like to try. Unfortunately I don't know of any US online retailer that carries them (even asked Fallkniven's distributor, no help.)

There are several new SGPS/G3 offerings that were severely limited offerings and never made it out of Europe.

However, many of the new blade offerings in G3 are available from NGK.
