Thats actually better than most production knives. If it's not up to your standards send it back, but be warned. You'll be sending more knives back than you'll keep if you're that picky.

I tend to notice stuff like that too, but it doesn't bother me. Check out the jimping on most Spyderco sprint runs. They're all kinds of wonky. Still work great.
