What do you think of my new purchases?

I think your purchases are horrible!
You've been infected by the fever of wanting more. Wanting higher priced knives. And expecting more and more from knives.
Welcome to the madness.

But you did great. Spydercos are really nice.

Awesome first buys; my gateway knife was a blacked out Spyderco Tenacious.. Upgraded to the Para2 after that, and it has not left my EDC rotation since. A few months later and I'm into CRKS, midtechs and now jumping into customs..

Para2 definitely competes with knives outside its price range (in my opinion), so great buy!

ICHO- I agree geat first knives. Lets hope that he moves more slowly than us. I am there with you starting out with a Spyderco sage and Benchmades then to upper end ZeroTolerance to Hinderer and Strider. I don't get the whole Sebenza thing though! I know I just hit a nerve with all of you. Please feel free to change my mind. Maybe I need to handle one. Any way I purchased a Bodega and a Kirby Lambert today. Kirby is not the most expensive custom but I would put his knives up against anyones.

Certainly great knives. any ideas on what you might be looking for next? Doesn't hurt to look and get ready for your next move. Oh yeah and there will be a next purchase way before you want it to happen. Those are all good sources to listen to on Youtube but keep in mind not every popular knife is good for everyone. You need to decide what works for you. Most of the time you buy several and sell a few until you have what you are willing to keep. Have fun and good luck.

Definitely hit my CRK fanboy nerve... GRR

Haha, in all seriousness, I really appreciate the fit and finish on the CRKs, just screams precision to me. The fact that they retain value well and their customer service (from what I've heard) is a big plus for me too. Not sure how much better then ceramic ball detent is compared to others, but it's an idea that I like. Congrats on the new customs.

To the OP, I'd highly recommend ZTs and Hinderer as great harder work knives and great customer support as well. You'll probably end up buying one, or both later so I thought I'd throw this in...

I think if i buy something else id wait and save up until i could buy one of those nice like striders or CRK's.
