What do you think of the Benchmade Rift?

It seems a little to heavy.. just a guess though. I like the plain black g10 version the best and of course the CF version.

I am not a fan of Osborne-designed knives and have been disappointed by most new Benchmade releases. However, when this limited edition with CF scales and M4 blade came out, I decided I "needed" to have it:

So, my impressions: still ugly as hell (although less so than a Gaucho), but the blade is actually very functional and the contoured CF scales are awesome. And probably a good long-term investment considering the small run. Would I buy the regular Rift with 154CM blade and G10 scales? No, but then I tend to be a snob when it comes to knives
