• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What do you think of this image?

Hey Man. First off, you send me a private message? I don't have it....?

The ivory is closer in my opinion to my image BUT is more off white/yellow in person and looks aged. Coops photo is when the knife was new so the ivory really wasn't aged at that point, it just came out a little darker i guess.
I think the ivory does look a bit aged in person but not too bad.

The chipping was there when I got the knife so I am not sure what the story is with it. I think it got a tiny bit worse in my hands, but the knife is so beautiful I just have to deal with it. :)

Oo not bad! I'm with Don. You know I like my dark backgrounds. ;) And propping knives up so there's a little space under them always helps. I've never been a fan of backgrounds with patterns so I suggest random textures. If you're going to shoot more then grab yourself a couple good backgrounds here: http://artpapersonline.com/
I get those annoying hues on my blades all the time too. I just use Photoshop and desaturate. I do like a little colour though. Totally colourless metal is lifeless metal... usually. I would grab a mirror and fill those darker shadows with some light.... or just randomly through some light anywhere on the knives with a mirror. Some mirror anywhere is better than no mirror in my experience.
