what do you think of this ZT

Trix,

Hey, I just had Phillip Dobson do up my 0301 with a smooth Ruby Red G-10 scale.

It's a nice finish and I may leave it, but am considering some grooving such as like yours. That look's showing up alot lately. The myriad of colors and groove size and depth make for some awesome variety.

Can you tell me what tools and technique you used to do the grooving?

Rat tail file? Dremel? Router?

I did it all with file ,one what looks like half-round, and then some sandpaper to make it smooth. hope it helps.
g10 easy to work but , hard part is what you have to cut out part inside scale for spring , its about 1.8mm deep , I did it with dremel .

Thanks. And again....looks really good.

I really like the way you did those grooves to really bring out the contrasting g10 colors. I especially like what you did up in front of the pivot. One of the coolest patterns I have seen. Great work.

That is absolutely amazing--I'd love to see that done in different colors (Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow...etc)

Good work!

That scale is awesome! Makes my 0301 look SO boring!
Wish I had the skills to make myself something similar in an olive variation.

They are also posted on the Dutch knifeforum "messenforum.nl " with your credits.

Thanks for the pictures.

Damn bro....she looks freaking kick ass!

It's pics like these that make me want one!

I feel that I can't make an intelligent nor conclusive analysis without using it as an EDC for at least 2 to 4 months... I will PM you my contact info ASAP!!! ;)

Great looking folder you got there!!!:D:thumbup:
