What do you use to hold your Busse's up?

ditto that, his shop is in boise a few miles from my house. he has built my gun belts and pant belts. double leather, double stitched, good stuff!

The hardest thing is getting the leatherbenders to make the loop big enough for the thickness of these belts. Not the width, but they are easily over 1/4" thick. My Milt Sparks holsters are ok with that though, very generous in that area. They KNOW how thick those belts are.

Really good stuff.

Ditto. Mine is a little worse for wear, but still strong. No 20 years of wear on it, but I have worn it nearly every day for at least 6 years. I even have one for dress pants. My big A$$ plays hell on belts so I buy double thickeness ones even if I don't plan on carrying a gun/knife.

Another vote for MILT SPARKS in idaho...

Take it from someone who works plain clothes and carries a gun, cuffs, spare mags, radio, etc, etc
I have three different sparks belts (different colors for different suits) that are the best I've ever used. My oldest is 10 years is worn almost everyday off duty and with a little shoe polish looks new, the other two are more for suits but still get used quite a bit and with all the crap I have to carry I've never had to resort to suspenders.

a Milt Sparks belt is going to cost you more then any department store belt you've ever seen, maybe more then two or three of them, but you'll have it for the rest of your life.
A touch up once a month with some Kiwi polish keeps it looking new.

I had Kenny Rowe make a rig and it works great. In my opinion, no better way to carry this knife. Kenny made a super heavy duty belt along with this sheath. He makes the sturdiest sheaths I've seen and the belt will match 100%, which makes for a good looking rig. Here's the sheath. I also sew an extra belt loop (taken from an old pair of jeans), so that the sheath can't slide and the belt won't sag.

Here is how I carry my Fat and Ugly NO (I am in the middle of reforming the handles just a bit and haven't re-carved any ridges yet; Very comfy so far however). This sheath from Semper Paratus Tactical is comfortable and carries very well. Having the sheath hang on that carabiner adds a degree of movement as though there is a pivot, but it still stays very close to my leg. The size of the carabiner is a perfect fit and actually pinches the top of the sheath so the sheath does not move around inside the carabiner much while carrying. The carabiner gives the sheath just the right amount of drop for me and since I am getting into a volunteer SAR group, having an extra locking carabiner never hurts. This drop also keeps the birds beak from chewing up my packs hipbelt. The belt is double layered and the loop in the belt velcros down when not in use (from Tactical Tailor). It is also very easy to get this rig off! :D

Thanks for the replies gents. I'll keep the Milt Sparks option in reserve. Sounds like a heck of an option. Methinks DS Nick has the best everyday support, so far!

Cheers,

Hey Guys, don't forget Kenny Rowe! He doesn't just make gorgeous sheaths, he made a beautiful belt for me!
